On Time, Every Time

We understand our customers have plans for our products; after they leave us, our caps and tins will be going places. So it's really important that they arrive with you ON TIME. Well, we guarantee that our caps and tins will be the most punctual available.

When we agree a delivery date for your order, that is the date it will be delivered. We will keep you informed of your order’s progress through production, and your order will not be late. We have put a huge effort and significant investment into making improvements and engaging our brilliant staff. Everyone at Macbey knows that it’s important to do what we say we will do, and our ambition is to be your best supplier to work with; this undertaking is just one of the ways we are making that ambition real.

Whole Workforce Training at Macbey

In 2014, the whole workforce at Macbey started a major training and improvement project. This was focused on:

  • improving the workplace
  • increasing efficiency
  • better reliability
  • reducing change-over times

...all of which greatly improves customer service. The new ways of working were then captured using Standard Operating Procedures.

By October 2015, the projects had reached completion, and the workplace looked significantly better. Levels of customer service had greatly improved, and the business was getting a lot of great feedback. The Auditor from one customer said 'I have never seen so much improvement happen in such a short time; other suppliers talk about Continuous Improvement but the workforce in Macbey have really achieved something that I have never seen before.'

To celebrate the achievements, the company booked the hospitality suite at the John Smith Stadium, home of Huddersfield Town and Huddersfield Giants, for the awards ceremony. Displays were set up to show the details of the improvements, and some of the key stakeholders were invited to see for themselves what had been achieved.
